In the wake of Hurricane Ian’s devastation of the west coast of Florida, the Mayor and City Council are requesting the community’s kindness and support with the donation of much needed items to the victims of this storm.

Following Hurricane Ian, City of Doral teams have assessed City facilities and found no damage. The City's services and operations have resumed.

In preparation of the incoming storm, the following closures and cancellations will be in effect for Wednesday, September 28th and Thursday, September 29th.

In preparation heavy rains this week, sandbags are available for self-service at an empty lot located on NW 53rd street and 83rd Avenue (next to Cordoba Apartments). Access to the lot is through NW 53rd street. Bags and shovels will be available on-site. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

Today, Downtown Doral, the City of Doral, Miami-Dade County, and UHealth - the University of Miami Health System joined forces to announce the latest health, wellness and transportation advancements coming to South Florida residents.

In the wake of Hurricane Fiona’s devastation of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, the Mayor and City Council are requesting the community’s kindness and support with the donation of much needed items to the victims of this storm.

At today’s second Budget Hearing Meeting, Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez and City Council unanimously approved to adopt a reduced millage rate for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 at 1.7166. This will be the lowest millage rate of any of the 34 municipalities in Miami-Dade County for the upcoming year.

The City of Doral is partnering with Global Empowerment Missions (GEM) to collect donations for the communities devastated by Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Collection sites at Doral Legacy Park and Morgan Levy Park are now open, until September 28th.
