City of Doral Community Based Organization (CBO)
Grant Cycle is Open!
Doral, FL – The 2023 Community Based Organization Grant cycle is now open and accepting applications until March 10, 2023, at 3:30pm. Applications must be submitted to cityclerk@cityofdoral.com.
This is a reimbursement fund that seeks to provide non-profit organizations based in the City of Doral with opportunities to plan, develop and implement sustainable projects that will serve the needs of the Doral community.
“This grant program is very important because it is yet another effort that helps to bridge the gap between our government and local organizations to support impactful initiatives that benefit our residents,” said Mayor Christi Fraga. “I am a big
believer that together we accomplish more, and we look forward to assisting these groups in our community accomplish great things.”
All organizations seeking funding must have a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) status and meet all eligibility criteria. Maximum amount of request is limited to $5,000 per non-for-profit organization, per fiscal year.
The Grant Categories are:
- Community Development
- Education
- Health/Human Services
- Arts and Culture
- Civic Engagement
- Environment
Over the years, these grants have assisted local organizations such as Miami Youth Orchestra, Bridge for Hope Inc., and Girl Scouts of USA, all of which address important needs in the community.
