About Us
Information and Technology (IT) Department provides technology innovation and support services to all city departments. IT is also responsible for maintaining the city's complex infrastructure of networks, security, data, applications, desktops, and mobile devices.
The Information Technology Department supports the City of Doral's Vision and Mission by:

IT provides technology services to all city departments for the benefit of the citizens:
Business Applications
Business Applications staff works with City departments to create technology solutions, provide technology consulting and business applications support services to all city departments.
Infrastructure Services
Infrastructure Services staff provides enterprise Voice and Data infrastructure services, Network Operations and Servicedesk Support, Servers and Storage, Client Desktop, Mobile Computer and PDA services, and large Systems Operations and Technical Support. Services also include Emergency Management Technical Support Services, Data Replication, Tape Backup and Recovery Operations, Offsite Recovery Planning and Exercises, and infrastructure integration and new systems implementation consulting.
Information Security
The Information Security staff ensures the security of the City's IT assets. This office addresses business information assets as well as the security processes, using methods that are reasonable, cost effective, and practical and aligned to city core business objectives.
Enterprise Change Management
Enterprise Change Management identifies best practice efficiencies, consults on and leads activities focused in the areas of customer service, project management development and continuous improvement opportunities.
