Doral Digital Smart City

The Smart City leadership has come from the City of Doral elected officials, city executives and senior staff with a Smart City overall plan to make sound technology investments that enables a next generation City – both economically and environmentally since we need to deliver both citizen centric services and economic and social opportunities to our residents, visitors and business. The City has achieved digital government transformation providing people first services and solutions that span city administration and citizen services, enabling increased insight, service efficiency and improved citizen outcomes and delivery of services to ensure the City’s attractiveness as a global destination for business, culture and leisure.

The City of Doral’s Smart City strategy is focused on the idea that the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can enhance the quality of services, transform city operations and infrastructure, engage citizens and accelerate innovation. The City of Doral adopted the Smart City approach since the Strategic Planning Session of June 2015 to enhance accessibility, sustainability, livability, and transparency.
