Two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) will open Monday, Sept. 25, in Miami-Dade and Sarasota counties to help Florida storm survivors. The DRCs will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week until further notice.

The Department of Solid Waste Management’s trash crews and its contractors continue to remove hurricane debris piles at the curbsides of its 330,000 unincorporated and municipal service area customers and on the County-maintained public rights-of-way.

The second annual Doral Food and Wine Festival returns to the City of Doral Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and November 5, 2017. Nevarez Communications is once again named the agency of record.The food and wine festival will showcase nationally and internationally recognized wineries and top restaurants from the city of Doral and South Florida.

After a meeting between the City of Doral and Miami-Dade County, the County will begin mosquito spraying on Thursday, September 21st at 15 different locations in Doral that have been identified.

Miami-Dade County Mosquito Control has reinstated residential inspections and is redeploying its mosquito surveillance network now that roads are passable and power has been restored to the majority of the community. Once power is fully restored to all areas, Mosquito Control will reinstate both truck adulticiding and routine truck larviciding treatments.

After a lot of hard work this weekend, two more parks will now be open. Doral Legacy Park will open today, Trails and Tails Park will open today

Governor Rick Scott has activated the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program to provide short-term, interest-free loans to businesses damaged by the storm.
