On Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., the City of Doral will join forces with the American Cancer Society for the annual Relay for Life of Doral at its brand new location, Downtown Doral Park. This year’s theme is “Harvest for Hope”.

On October 20th, the City of Doral embarked on the "Million Orchid Project" with Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez and Councilwoman Claudia Mariaca, braving the heights to plant the very first orchids in Downtown Doral Park. PUBLIC ADVISORY - Due to the significant rain event that has transpired over the last couple of hours, the City’s stormwater systems are currently over capacity, causing  flooding and ponding throughout several roadways.

Miami-Dade County Solid Waste department’s bulky waste collection crews and hundreds of trucks and crews from six contracted debris haulers continue to work seven days a week to ensure that every debris pile will be collected.

The Government Center came alive on September 26, 2017, with the Doral Heart Brazil event, highlighting Brazil’s rich culture.
