Please be advised that the City of Doral Government Center will be closed from Wednesday, November 27th at noon through Friday, November 29th in observance of Thanksgiving. All parks will remain open, please visit our website for  holiday park hours. We will resume normal operating hours on Monday, December 2nd.

The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County (DOH-Miami-Dade) is under a mosquito-borne illness alert. A case of dengue fever of local transmission has been confirmed in a Miami-Dade resident. This case appears to be unrelated with the other cases. Miami-Dade County has twelve local cases in 2019.

On November 11th, Doral observed Veterans Day with the annual parade and ceremony along with Doral’s councilmembers, local schools, community groups, veterans and their families. It was a proud day with the community coming together to show honor, respect and admiration for the brave men and women that have fought for our great nation.

During Art Basel Week, Doral Legacy Park will be transformed into a modern and “Instagrammable” garden for the Doral Arts & Flowers Festival produced by Yola Guz and Ruben Consa, from the YOLA GUZ School of Floral Design.

The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County is reminding all Floridians to get their flu shot before the height of the upcoming flu season. Flu activity can begin as early as October and last as late as May. The best way to avoid the flu this season is by getting a flu shot soon.

Small Business Saturday is less than a month away! This November 30th, be a part of the 10th annual holiday shopping tradition that brings together communities in support of their favorite small businesses.

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) conducts its Spring cleaning in November. From Nov. 4-17, the Department will temporarily change the method used to chlorinate the drinking water supply at its treatment plants.
