Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez and City Council visited the Miami Rescue Mission Clinic in Doral on Friday, October 30th to present a $5,000 donation check to the clinic on behalf of Dr. Pete Gutierrez. Dr. Gutierrez, Medical Director at Miami Rescue Mission, provided expertise and guidance to City first responders and staff during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Miami City Ballet (MCB) presents George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® in the Park, live before an audience in the outdoor splendor of Downtown Doral Park. The innovative multimedia production which uses animation, projection, video and live sequences, also takes COVID-19 precautions into careful consideration.

The City of Doral in partnership with the Doral Contemporary Art Museum (DORCAM), announces ‘Manolo Valdés: The Legacy’, a monumental outdoors exhibition of Manolo Valdés sculptures, comprised of an outstanding selection of more than a dozen of the artist’s larger-than-life sculptures, scattered through the City of Doral, for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors alike.

Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez will deliver the City’s 17th annual State of the City address virtually on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.  The speech will highlight several key accomplishments from the past year, as well as look towards the future of the City and its continued commitment to effective, efficient and transparent government.

Per the City of Doral Charter, every five years the Charter Review Committee must meet for four months to review the City Charter. These meetings are public and the community is able to attend and provide feedback.

The Miami-Dade County Board of Commissioners approved another round of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). This $17 million program is intended to help families who are having problems paying their rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
