The City of Doral has been recognized by 2021 the Communicator Awards, a leading international awards program recognizing excellence in communication across a spectrum of industries, championing effective and meaningful work.

The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), the state’s leading certifier of green residential and commercial construction and local governments, has announced the 2020 Annual Achievement Awards winners for Builder of the Year, Highest Scoring Projects, and Certifying Agent of the Year.

The City of Doral has been selected as a winner of the CIO (Chief Information Officer) 2021 FutureEdge 50 Awards as an organization pushing the edge with new technologies to advance their business for the future.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. This new benefit will connect eligible households to jobs, critical healthcare services, virtual classrooms, and so much more.

The City of Doral is sponsoring FREE drive-thru COVID-19 Viral Swab testing for City of Doral residents, 4 years of age and up.

Miami-Dade County is launching a new community-wide effort to help those in need pay their water bills. The goal of WASD Cares is to collect $1 million to support those families who need it most.

On May 4th, Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, City Council, staff along with Kaufman Lynn Construction and Waypoint Contracting, Inc and Chen Moore and Associates, broke ground on the Doral White Course Park project. The park is scheduled to be completed during the first quarter of 2022.
