The City of Doral continues to prioritize the welfare of the community, exploring viable solutions that may alleviate the odor issue in the city. Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, with the support of the City Council, sent letters to Miami-Dade County urging them not to extend the lease agreement with the Covanta facility.

On August 3rd, Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, City Council along with project contractor, KVC Constructors, Inc. and architect, Bermello Ajamil & Partners, celebrated the important construction milestone of the Doral Cultural Arts Center project with a Beam Signing Ceremony.
