The City of Doral has launched a partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for the 2023 Summer Youth Internship Program!
This (5) week program, at no cost to the City, runs from July 3 through August 7, 2023, for a total of 150 work hours. The program is sponsored by Career Source South Florida, The Children's Trust, Miami-Dade County, and The Educational Federal Credit Union (EdFed).
The goal of the program is to promote student's interest in post-secondary education, and to help participants develop the skills that are required to be successful in the 21st century workplace. The internship is intended to be project-based with learning goals structures into the experience, with hands-on learning to provide real-world work experience under the guidance and supervision of professionals who have relevant knowledge and skills in their field. Upon the successful completion of the internship, students earn high school and college academic credits.
