City of Doral Community Based Organization (CBO) Grant Cycle is Open!
Doral, FL – The 2024 Community Based Organization (CBO) Grant cycle is now open and accepting applications until March 15, 2024, at 3:30pm. This year, applications have gone completely digital, ensuring an easier and more transparent process! This is a reimbursement fund that seeks to provide non-profit organizations based in the City of Doral with opportunities to plan, develop and implement sustainable projects that will serve the needs of the Doral community.
“The CBO grant is one of the impactful programs that the City implements annually to support Doral’s local organizations,” said Manuel Pila, Economic Developer for City of Doral. “Through these partnerships, our community continues to benefit from creative initiatives that further improve their quality of life across multiple areas.”
All organizations seeking funding must have a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) status and meet all eligibility criteria. Maximum amount of request is limited to $5,000 per non-for-profit organization, per fiscal year.
The Grant categories are:
- Community Development
- Education
- Health/Human Services
- Arts and Culture
- Civic Engagement
- Environment
Over the years, these grants have assisted local organizations such as Miami Youth Orchestra, Bridge for Hope Inc., and Girl Scouts of USA, all of which address important needs in the community.
