City of Doral participates in Emerge Americas

On April 29th, the City of Doral was once again a proud participant in the “eMerge Americas” event. This event brings leaders, innovators, businesses and stakeholders together with the common goal of transforming Miami into a tech hub of the Americas. Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez proudly represented the City in a panel with leaders like Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez and City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez to discuss how we’re doing our part to reimagine our cities with smart, technology-driven policies.
 
Did you know that in 2016 and 2017, the City of Doral obtained Platinum Level Certifications for ISO 37120 which includes over 100 measures? Through the internationally recognized WCCD ISO 37120 Certification, we continue to be part of a global network of cities adopting a culture of data to drive innovation. We are the only City in Florida to have this certification and 1 of 5 in the US (LA, Boston, Portland, San Diego). Our leading accomplishments underscore Doral’s stature as a truly global city, and – perhaps even more importantly – helps to secure a more sustainable, prosperous, resilient, smart and inclusive future.
