Doral Central Park Water Tank Art Competition: Calling All Artists!

Doral, FL – The City of Doral is excited to announce a competition to transform the existing  water tank, located at Doral Central Park, into a captivating art installation. This initiative seeks visionary artists, designers, and creatives (over the age of 18) to submit proposals for a unique and stunning centerpiece that reflects the vibrant spirit of Doral. The selected artist(s) will design site specific artwork including elements of Doral in the art work that will provide City of Doral residents and visitors with a visual experience while adding to the sense of place as you enter Doral Central Park.

What We’re Looking For:

• The artwork should represent Doral as a "premier City to live, work, learn, and play."
• An original, site-specific concept that captures the heart of our community.
• Art that complements the architecture of the park and its surrounding natural environment.
• A design that captures Doral’s essence, incorporating themes like family, unity, peace, multiculturalism, and the tagline "Doral Shines."
• The proposed design must foster interactive collaboration between Doral residents and artists by providing opportunities for community members to actively participate in the creation process.
