Doral is Recognized for Distinguished Budget Presentation for Fourth Consecutive Year
Doral, FL – The City of Doral has received the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its budget. This is the City’s fourth consecutive year receiving this prestigious award.
The award represents a significant achievement and reflects the commitment of the Mayor, City Council and administration to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting in a transparent and efficient manner. To receive the award, the City
satisfied nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation that asses how well a budget serves as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide and communications device.
There are over 1,600 participants in the Budget Awards Program. Award recipients like Doral continue to pioneer efforts to improve the quality of budgeting and provide an excellent example for other government throughout North America.
