Doral, FL – Bring your families and your tents for Camping Under the Stars at the Doral Central Park on January 29th. Enjoy family-friendly activities beginning at 5:00 p.m. like face painting, rock wall climbing, exotic animal encounters and a special showing of Disney’s Aladdin. This year the City partnered with the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science, offering hands-on and space-themed activities that are both fun and educational.
Boy Scout Troop 552 has played a key role in this popular event since its inception. A signature moment is a campfire with marshmallow roast, and an American Flag Retirement Ceremony. To cap it all off the next morning, campers can enjoy a delicious breakfast cooked by the Troop (tickets sold at the event).
On-site registration and check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. and will conclude at 8:30 p.m. Registration forms and camping rules and regulations are available on the City's website. Admission and parking are free.
