Doral Legacy Park Opens its Doors
Doral, FL – The Doral City Council invites residents and members of the community to the Doral Legacy Park Grand Opening on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Join us for the ceremonial ribbon cutting and plaque unveiling, as well as FREE BBQ, games, music, sports demos and more. America’s Got Talent contestant and Doral resident, Angelina Green, will also be performing! The festivities kickoff at 11:00 a.m.
While visiting the impressive, indoor gymnasium with exercise track, register for the Mayor’s “Step Up Your Health, Doral” Wellness Initiative. Our partner, Baptist Health South Florida, will be on-site to register and offer health screenings to kick off the yearlong challenge.
Doral Legacy Park, located at NW 82nd Street and 114th Avenue in Doral, is the City’s seventh park. The 18-acre, state-of-the-art park, is a place where the community will enjoy sports, cultural arts, programs and fitness in a safe and family-friendly environment that is representative of the beautiful City of Doral.
Event admission and parking are free. As parking is limited, additional parking will be available at nearby Ronald W. Reagan/Doral High School where a Doral Trolley will be shuttling to and from the event.
