The City of Doral has been recognized with the Silver Level Award from the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) for the Well Workplace Award for the third and fourth Quarter of 2023. The WELCOA Well Workplace Awards recognize organizations that have built successful employee wellness programs and set a new standard for recognizing organizations that contribute to employee’s flourishing and thriving through their wellness efforts. The award is designed to showcase organizations that are taking an impactful and innovative approach to improving the health and wellbeing of their employees. All award winners completed a rigorous application process that included using the WELCOA patented 7 Benchmarks framework and were measured on organizations approach to worksite wellness. This is the City’s first year participating in the WELCOA Well Workplace Awards and proud for this accomplishment. The City of Doral looks forward to continuing the growth of its wellness program and strives to create innovations that enhance the benefits for our Doral team. Thanks to the support from City leadership, Doral recognizes the value in creating a work environment that not only meets professional standards but goes above and beyond in ensuring the overall wellbeing of its workforce.
