Doral, FL – On September 7, 2018, the Doral Government Center will celebrate Brazil’s rich culture and diversity with the Doral Hearts Brazil event. The reception and art exhibit proudly honors Brazil’s Independence Anniversary of 196 years and has been selected to be included as part of the 2018 Cultural Season of the Consulate General of Brazil of Miami, “A Journey Through Brazilian Experiences”. This cultural collaboration, now in its second year, was unanimously approved by Mayor and Council. The event which is free and open to the public, will feature delicious Brazilian hors d'oeuvres, music and more!
There will not be a shortage of colorful Brazilian culture for the night, with art from award-winning, Brazilian artists living in South Florida: Alex Vignoli, Carlos Cesar Alves, Carmem Gusmão, Didi Marchi, Fernanda Dabus, Fernanda Frangetto, Jotape, Karine Oliveira, Karla Calassa, Marine Fonteyne, Roberta Caviglia, and Tiago Magro. Working in sculpture, painting, and photography, they remind us of the value of living in harmony with our precious natural resources.
