Doral, FL – Discerning fashionistas gained a new venue in Doral on November 15th, when Mayor Luigi Boria and Councilwoman Sandra Ruiz welcomed T.J. Maxx to the Doral Commons shopping center on NW 104th Avenue. The Mayor and Councilwoman were joined by Miami-Dade Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz in presenting a certificate of recognition to store manager Joe Villaronga and associates at the ribbon cutting ceremony. T.J. Maxx returned the honor by contributing $5,000 to the Love Fund Inc. “It was great to have the Mayor come to our opening,” said Mr. Villaronga; “We are happy to be in Doral.” The 25,000 square foot store is an off-price retailer that buys from all kinds of vendors: big brand names to boutique, designer labels, as well as up-and-coming labels to combine fashion, brand, quality and price for their buyers.
