Cuban human rights advocate and 2007 Presidential Medal of Freedom winner, Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet paid a visit to Mayor Luigi Boria. They discussed human rights in the Americas and Mayor Boria’s initiative at the recent U.S. Conference of Mayors urging the OAS to hold the Venezuelan government accountable for violating the Inter-American Charter. Dr. Gisela Parra was also in attendance.
