Doral Welcomes New US Southcom Commander to Honor Veterans

Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez and the City Council invite the community to join in observing Veterans Day on November 11, 2021, at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony, taking place at Veterans Park (10190 NW 33rd Street) will feature special speakers, flag retirement ceremony and musical performances.

Doral Welcomes New
US Southcom Commander to Honor Veterans

Doral, FL – Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez and the City Council invite the community to join in observing Veterans Day on November 11, 2021, at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony, taking place at Veterans Park 10190 NW 33rd Street will feature special speakers, flag retirement ceremony and musical performances.

The city is proud to welcome the new commander of United States Southern Command in Doral, General Laura J. Richardson, as a special speaker. This is the first community event General Richardson will be participating in since becoming the first woman to head Southcom.

The ceremony is open to the public and will also be live streamed on the City’s Facebook. For more details, please see flyer below ↓.
