The City of Doral’s Economic Development division is committed to helping businesses in the city weather the COVID-19 crisis and get back on track toward a rapid recovery. The division administers
the city’s business assistance programs and grants, provides valuable economic data, and stimulates
economic activity through promotions, events, entrepreneurial education and promotional initiatives like the Spend Local, Save Local program. The division’s dedicated staff works
closely with county, state and federal agencies and a diverse network of economic development partners to communicate reliable information, provide technical assistance and offer free business support services to firms in the city. For more information

Miami-Dade Beacon Council
The Miami-Dade Beacon Council, a public-private partnership, is the official economic development organization for Miami-Dade County. Program can help local firms understand and access the funding resources available to Miami-Dade small businesses.

CareerSource South Florida
CareerSource South Florida is responsible for initiating state and federally funded workforce development programs in Miami-Dade. CareerSource assists employers and job seekers with employment services, labor market information, and job training

Enterprise Florida
Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) is a public-private partnership between Florida’s trade industry and government leaders. EFI is launching a new Virtual Business Matchmaking grant program to help the state’s small and medium-sized companies to reach new and existing customers overseas. Florida’s SBDC @ FIU
The Florida SBDC at FIU is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, designated as the state’s primary provider of business assistance. Florida’s SBDC @ FIU brings local companies a team of highly experienced business experts who offer confidential,

Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is the official, accredited destination sales and marketing organization for Miami Dade County. The GMCVB has partnered with the United Way of Miami-Dade and others to activate Operation Helping Hands, an emergency response initiative to raise funds and recruit volunteers for recovery and relief efforts. Prospera
Prospera is an economic development, nonprofit organization that specializes in providing bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs. Prospera’s South Florida office, located in Doral, empowers Hispanic entrepreneurs through training, support

US Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses. The SBA can connect small businesses with participating SBA-approved
