Due to the significant rain event that has transpired over the last couple of hours, the City’s stormwater systems are currently over capacity, causing flooding and ponding throughout several roadways. We expect the excess stormwater to recede once the rain concludes and allows the drainage systems to process the water. If you see an obstructed storm drain, please report it to the City’s 311 portal on our website and we will dispatch staff to assess the situation. In the meantime, we ask that you reduce speeds while driving through standing water and allow for greater distances between cars. We appreciate your patience and prudence while driving.”
