Increased PD in Doral Schools

In light of yesterday's tragic events, the Doral Police Department reminds the community that it has an active School Resource Officer program to enhance school security and improve youth outreach. By building relationships with our students and educators we can stay alert to potential threats and respond accordingly.

The Department is hiring additional officers whose sole job will be protecting our student body and educators.

We understand the fear and concern that result when tragic events occur. We have assigned officers to every school in Doral to help students, parents, and teachers feel safe.

The Police Department encourages everyone to take an active role in public safety by reporting any suspicious activity to the police. By working together, we can all help keep Doral a safe place to live, work, play, and learn.
