Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is resuming the critical, proactive rehabilitation to portions of the 96-inch raw water main located along NW 74 Street in the nearby Town of Medley. Beginning Monday, February 26 there will be temporary lane closures along NW 74 Street between NW 69 Avenue and NW 72 Avenue. Detour signage will be in place and police will be on-site directing traffic. Work during the construction period will take place 24 hours a day until completed. The area will remain open to local business traffic. Mitigating actions will be taken to offset impacts to stakeholders throughout the project duration.
The project is anticipated to be completed in approximately two weeks. For more information about this project, please contact jeanette.gorgas@miamidade.gov.
