As our community continues to navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Miami-Dade County presses on to assist residents experiencing hardships. Among the available aid programs is the new Emergency Rental Assistance Program 2.3 (ERAP 2.3). The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Monday, March 15.
Qualifying Miami-Dade County residents whose families are experiencing difficulties paying their full monthly rent may receive rental assistance based on family size, bedroom size of the housing unit, the rent owed, and current household income.
The application must be completed by the tenant, but landlords/owners are encouraged to contact the program by email at LandlordsERAP@miamidade.gov or by phone at 786-688-2440 to refer tenants who are behind in their rent. Your household must earn no more than 80 percent of the County Area Median Income (AMI).
