The City of Doral Kicks Off Holiday Series of Events!

Doral, FL – The City of Doral invites residents and members of the community to be a part of the Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony, at the City of Doral Government Center (8401 NW 53rd Ter). This is the first of a series of Holiday events. The celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6th, with a special ceremony, featuring our guest of honor, Santa Claus. Join us as we light up our Holiday Tree and the Doral Government Center with brilliant lights. Admission and parking are free. Photos with Santa Claus will be available but require tickets. Tickets are limited and must be purchased prior to the event – purchase on City’s Eventbrite ($5 per ticket) when they go on sale on Friday, November 15th at 12:00 p.m.

The holiday cheer keeps going with the Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 7th , at 4:00 p.m. Join us at the Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street) to shop for unique and artisanal holiday gifts for your loved ones.

On Friday, December 13th Holiday Celebration at the Park makes its return to Doral Central Park (3000 NW 87th St)! The community is invited to for a full night of entertainment for the family kicking off at 6:00 p.m., with activities that include interactive inflatables, snow slide, live-performances, holiday character appearances and much more. Admission and parking are free. This will be your last chance for photos with Santa Claus. Tickets are required and must be purchased prior to the event – purchase on City’s Eventbrite ($5 per ticket) when they go on sale on Monday, November 18th at 12:00 p.m.

The festivities continue with the Miami Symphony Orchestra at the Park on Saturday, December 14th at Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street). Bring your blankets, picnic baskets and family to enjoy an evening with the beautiful, classical sounds of the Miami Symphony Orchestra led by Eduardo Marturet. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. This event begins at 5:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The magic continues Tuesday, December 17th with Storytime with Mrs. Claus. Bring your children for magical stories at the Doral Cultural Arts Center (8363 NW 53rd St) at 6:00 p.m. Registration will open December 4th and will be capped at 200 participants (kids and adults included).

The holiday event series culminates with Light Up the Night on Thursday, December 26th, 6:00 p.m. at Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street) and is a perfect way to celebrate this special time of the year. Join us to show your holiday pride and light the menorah, recognizing all our first responders for keeping us safe during the holidays and always! Raffles and light bites following the ceremony.
