Miami-Dade County is responding to a fire at the Covanta Energy plant in Doral, FL. The blaze reportedly began at 2:00pm today.
Today, the City of Doral achieved recognition for implementing ISO 37120 for the sixth consecutive year. Dr. Patricia McCarney - President and CEO of the World Council on City Data (WCCD) - recognized Mayor Christi Fraga, the Council and City Staff.
Ms. Venus is an exceptional 8-year-old student at Bridgeprep Academy in Doral. She was recognized for her hard work at school and heroic approach to life as she has overcome challenges in her life.
The 2023 Community Based Organization Grant cycle is now open and accepting applications until March 10, 2023, at 3:30pm. Applications must be submitted to cityclerk@cityofdoral.com.
